Ray joined FileCloud in December 2021 following the completion of a $40M growth funding round and subsequent change of control. Headquartered in Austin, Texas, FileCloud is a hyper-secure content collaboration platform that provides industry-leading compliance, data governance, data leak protection, data retention, and digital rights management capabilities.
Prior to FileCloud, Ray was Chief Executive Officer at Kemp from 2012 through November 2021, where he oversaw the transformation of the company from niche load balancing/application delivery product into category leadership of the rapidly growing “Application Experience” (AX) market. Throughout this period, the company grew from > $10M to over $70M annual revenue and from 30 employees to over 300, completing two tuck-in acquisitions along the way. In 2019, Kemp was acquired by Mill Point Capital, a New York based private equity firm. In November 2021, Progress Software (NASDAQ: PRGS) announced that they had completed the acquisition of Kemp in a $258M all-cash deal.
Ray has held several executive leadership positions, including with publicly traded technology companies like Cabletron Systems and Enterasys Networks. From 2002-2010, Ray served as co-founder of Arrosys, a European-based Sales & Marketing consultancy which specialized in efficiently launching expansion stage technology companies into European sales markets.
Educated in his native Ireland at the Limerick Institute of Technology, Ray and his wife Janet reside on Long Island, New York.

Radu is also the founder and CEO of Volt Finance, an application used by over 40,000 people to monitor and improve their credit and instantly transfer funds. Radu lives with his family in Rome, Italy, and enjoys diving, sailing, and playing the cello.
